Details
The Seneye POE Node is designed to be water and tamper proof, and suited to commercial environments such as fish farms and public aquariums. The Node connects with Power Over Ethernet, which is more reliable than WiFi and can be extended further - a Node can be up to 50m from the tough switch or power adaptor that it is connected to. The Seneye POE Node includes the Node box and a sensor attached with a 2.5m cable. We recommend that the Node is then connected, by a single cable, to a POE Tough Switch, which can provide up to 8 Nodes with power and an internet connection, though single POE adaptors are also available for connecting a single Node.
